The Basic FreeDome is the perfect canvas for your creativity, offering you 28m² of floor space which can be configured for your individual needs.

The dome is sited on a 100 mm thick concrete foundation slab with 100 mm rigid thermal insulation incorporated.

The envelope is constructed with FSC certified, treated timber struts and clad in 15 mm FSC plywood board.

The exterior is then finished with a meticulous, multi-layer coating process using high quality projected cork with fibre mesh reinforcement of the joints.

The structure comes with 120 mm of fibreglass insulation which combined with the other materials of the dome envelope gives a total wall thickness of 150mm - all of which is insulating material - avoiding the need for heating.

Your FreeDome also includes a versatile solid pine Dutch door and eight triple glazed wooden windows (three opening, and five fixed) with hard wearing bamboo fibre trims to provide ample amounts of natural light and ventilation.

We also include a highly durable laminate flooring, and pre-installation for plumbing and electrical connections.

With a cosy and contemporary plywood interior finish, acoustically insulated interior plasterboard partition walls and door your comfort and relaxation is guaranteed.

Constructed from 30 mm x 40 mm FSC certified timber which is treated with a 10 year guaranteed wood protector.

The sides are covered in durable mosquito netting whilst the top has a canopy of woven shade cloth to keep you out of the harsh Spanish sun.

Unlike other pergolas on the market our ShadeDomes are super strong - enabling you to hang swinging chairs or hammocks directly from its sturdy framework.

We can upgrade your ShadeDome to replace the woven shade cloth with rigid plywood boards finished to a luxury standard with our patented projected cork coating process, providing more durability and a tranquil, protected setting for you and your garden furniture to enjoy for years to come. As all of domes are made to measure we can of course fabricate your ShadeDome with larger, more impressive timbers at a reasonable additional cost.
